School of the Disabled

Location: Ban Mea Phakae, Thailand

Looking at the state of the world today, there are not many reasons to be optimistic about the future. However, as the saying goes, every drop makes an ocean. Our Project Noah initiatives for this quarter is focused on bringing essentials like water and food to the people that need it. We head to Chiang Mai, northern part of Thailand to start off by sponsoring food and water to a local community school that requested for aid.

These necessities often prove too expensive for the locals and we regularly help improve the learning conditions of the children in such schools through the donation of large bins to help out with the storage of water in the event of a drought and basic food like rice and spices to keep the teachers and students contented. We also organized a Project Noah day where some of our management team would head down to mingle with the very children that we sponsor. It was a fun filled day for the children and laughter was heard all over. Seeing their jubilant faces makes all of these efforts worthwhile.

Every dollar raised in our education fund enables a child to be fed for a day and the USD80,000 donated to this school will definitely go a long way for them. Together with our experienced team of volunteers in Thailand, we are sure that every dollar donated will be put to good use. Project Noah and the volunteers would like to thank the people who made it possible for us to help the children in Thailand and spread our love for the world.
